episode #234 – January (June) Songs

So, I’m nearly 30.  Mike tells me that from his two weeks of experience, that it isn’t all that bad.  As noted a few weeks ago, it’s tradition at myboytheriotgirl, that we each get to program our respective birthday show, disregarding all rules and standards for playlist formatting.  As Mike opted for a bunch of Rilo Kiley, I’ve taken this opportunity to play a bunch of new tracks from one of my favourite artists, [wikipop]Darren Hayman[/wikipop] of [wikipop search=”Hefner (band)”]Hefner [/wikipop]’fame’.

Also, Zooey Deschanel from [wikipop search=”She and Him”]She & Him[/wikipop], has a new sit-com out this fall, and seeing the trailer reminded me that I like the music and should play some for you.  Cheers!
