With one more show to put together before a quick 2-week summer hiatus, Megan and I have been keeping our eyes open for songs to put us in the holiday mood.
Good thing that [wikipop search=”Beirut (band)”]Beirut[/wikipop] and Hooded Fang are both releasing new albums this month, and we’ll be sampling from both. For now though, here’s a sneak peak at the Beirut track we’ll play tomorrow, recorded at a recent show (thank you for high-quality handheld video cameras!), and you can check out some of Hooded Fang’s new tracks out at their CBC Radio 3 webpage.
